Before/After School Enrichment Program

Rachel Carson PTSA partners with local vendors to offer a variety of quarterly before and after school enrichment opportunities for Rachel Carson Students.

These programs are organized by PTSA volunteers with the goal to provide enrichment opportunities for the school community.

Enrichment programs are only successful with a collaborative effort between parents and the PTSA volunteers. 

Important things to note before registering

• All classes are hosted at Rachel Carson Elementary
• A parent chaperone is required for each class. Please carefully read the requirements when signing up for a before or after school enrichment programs to ensure you can commit to the necessary volunteer duties. Some programs require parents to volunteer as a chaperone at least once. Some classes offer a discount if a parent offers to chaperone the entire session.
• Please read the FAQ for Enrichment Program Class Policies and Procedures for details on refund and cancelation policies, chaperoning, and additional terms and conditions. By enrolling in an after-school class, you agree to the Policies and Procedures. 

Registration Information

Families with a current PTSA membership enjoy the benefit of early registration for before and after school programs (one of many great reasons to become a PTSA member!) Join/Renew your PTSA Membership!

Two weeks later, open enrollment registration.

Grade Specific Classes

Some class registrations are grade specific. Parents need to manually update their

student's grade and teacher's name in their PTSA account.

To update your student's grade and teacher:

Click "My Account" on the left side of this page, under "Directory".
Click "edit", in-line with the student's name.
Update your student's grade and teacher.
