No ice. No skating. Ball hockey is similar to ice hockey, but players wear tennis shoes and play on a hard surface using a ball instead of a puck. It is a super-fun, fast-paced, team-oriented sport that emphasizes strategy, speed, and agility. Your student will have a blast!
No experience required! In fact, almost all the kids that start playing ball hockey with us have never played before. Through exciting games & challenges and friendly scrimmages, players develop confidence, coordination, and teamwork skills. Our experienced coaches will guide them every step of the way, starting with basic hockey fundamentals like stickhandling, passing, shooting, and positioning. We will make sure they learn the game of hockey the right way, in a supportive and fun environment.

Class Description: Considering how much of our lives revolve around using everyday goods and products, the design of these items (and the work that goes into it) is easy to overlook. But product design is one of the most useful skills to have in many different industries, and hands-on prototyping and 3D fabrication can be rewarding both as a hobby or a profession. In this workshop, students will gain experience with professional 3D design software and printing technologies. Instructors will help students understand how product designers approach common problems and identify what it is that consumers need in their products. Technologies used in this workshop include Autodesk Fusion 360 CAD software and Tinkercad online 3D modeling program.
