Rachel Carson PTSA partners with local vendors to bring a variety of fun and engaging before- and after-school programs to our students each quarter. These activities, coordinated by our dedicated PTSA volunteers, help enrich learning and strengthen our school community. They’re only possible through the wonderful teamwork of parents, volunteers, and the PTSA.

What to know before you sign up

  • All classes are held at Rachel Carson Elementary.

  • Each class needs a parent chaperone. Please review the requirements before registering to make sure you can help when needed. Some programs ask each family to chaperone at least once, and a few even offer a discount if you can chaperone for the full session.

  • PTSA members get early access! Families with a current PTSA membership enjoy priority registration for before- and after-school programs—just one of many great reasons to join or renew your membership!

  • Check out the Enrichment Program FAQ for details about refunds, cancellations, chaperoning, and other important information. When you sign up for an after-school class, you’re agreeing to follow these guidelines.

  • Some classes are only for certain grades. Please be sure to update your child’s grade and teacher in your PTSA account before registering (see the FAQ for how-to).
